Hailing originally from New York City, Todd made his home in Michigan following his studies at Michigan State University. He proudly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management.

Over the course of his journey, he successfully operated The Intelligent Chicken restaurant for nine years, followed by his venture, Intelligent Catering, for an additional 13 years. Notably, since 1996, Todd has also held the role of trustee for The Rones Foundation, a commitment that he finds deeply fulfilling.
